I make sense of complexity.
I find the real issue, ask the question that hasn’t been asked, and figure out what to do next. I move naturally between the big picture and the details that determine whether an idea works in practice.
Strategy, Operations &
Special Projects
I’m a strategic operator and advisor to senior leaders, with 15+ years of experience at Google and BCG. I turn complex, ambiguous business questions into clear decisions and bring teams together to put those decisions into practice.
My experience spans product strategy, organizational scaling, investment planning, special projects, and executive communications, most recently across Google Photos, Google One, and AI Subscriptions.
I find the real issue, ask the question that hasn’t been asked, and figure out what to do next. I move naturally between the big picture and the details that determine whether an idea works in practice.
I surface problems early, challenge assumptions, and move quickly to solve them. I also care deeply about people: understanding what matters to them, giving honest feedback, and creating room for them to succeed.
I bring conviction and a bias for action. I take initiative, work through obstacles, and bring people together to deliver. I stay close to the work and see it through, from the first decision to the final result.
I joined as Chief of Staff to the GM, leading planning, setting investment priorities, and establishing leadership routines as the organization grew from 700 to 1,000 people. As our AI subscriptions business expanded, my focus shifted toward the strategy and execution behind that growth. I partnered closely with the GM to frame major decisions, authored narratives for discussions with the CEO and board, and drove special projects across Product, Engineering, GTM, and Finance.
I led teams of strategists, program managers, and analysts shaping product strategy and investment priorities for technology serving Alphabet’s workforce. In HR Tech, I established planning and product development processes across an engineering organization of 400 people. In Googler Tech, I led multiyear strategy and annual investment planning for systems serving more than 150,000 employees globally.
As part of Stadia’s launch team, I built its international expansion strategy from the ground up. I established market selection criteria, led market assessments, and drove the platform’s first EMEA expansion.
I spent eight years at BCG across Tel Aviv, Boston, and San Francisco. After leading client strategy and transformation engagements, I helped build a new digital transformation practice, shaping its strategy, offerings, business development, and growth.
Michal has a unique perspective on untapped product and people opportunities. She sees things that other people miss. She states plainly what she sees. She does not conform to group thinking.
Google VP
She is a kind and empathetic and very generous leader who is willing to bring others up without having to highlight herself.
Senior collaborator
I’d be happy to connect you with additional references who can speak in depth about my work and what it’s like to work with me.
A senior role in Strategy & Operations, Special Projects, or as a strategic Chief of Staff, working directly with a CEO, GM, or product or business leader to shape and scale an AI or technology business.
My strongest fit is a role with broad ownership across strategy and execution. I partner closely with the leader to set direction, make difficult decisions, and bring teams together to drive special projects and the business’s most important initiatives. I build the structure a growing organization needs while staying close to the decisions, people, and work that move it forward.
If a team, challenge, or opportunity comes to mind, I’d love to connect, even before there’s an open role.
